Wedding Party

Meet our family and freiends who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Stefanie Maier

Maid of Honor

My relationship with Stef has only grown stronger since the OG Glen Rock days. From backyard get-togethers to college visits to ski trips, Stef is always willing to try new things or seek adventure. There are hardly moments where we aren’t laughing together. Stef always picks up the phone when I need a listening ear, and gives the best life advice. I am so excited to have Stef stand by my side on my special day. She may be the best pastry chef on the East Coast, but to me she is also an amazing and reliable friend!

Garret Hokr

Best Man

I asked everyone else, and they said "No", so Garret was the last option! In all seriousness, he is honest, kind, and loyal, and has always shown up for both Abby and me. He’s my CB, my brother in all but blood, and someone I’m proud to call one of my best friends. Before I proposed, I knew he was the one I wanted standing beside me.

Samantha Alba

Matron of Honor

Sam and I have been friends since middle school, where people could hardly tell us apart. Maybe it was the straightened hair with side bangs, the Abercrombie t-shirts, matching braces, or the fact that we played the same sports. Sam has characteristics that any girl would look up to – she is calm, mature, and embraces every situation with grace. Some of my best memories with Sam are hanging out at her house after school, trips to the lake, and playing volleyball down the shore (we might have partied way too much while we were there…). I am so lucky to call Sam my friend for over 17 years and cannot wait to share this milestone event with her!

Christian Duran

Groomsman

Not even your friends or your spouses' friends can really understand your family. Only your family understands your family. My cousin Christian understands me on this level more than anyone else from the fine men I've chosen. He is a thrill seeking, fun loving, and funny character and I'm honored to have him representing my family at my side.

Peri Denmark

Bridesmaid

Having a cousin is cool, but having one that is also a friend is even better. I have always had a special relationship with Peri, and we have shared many special moments over the years. From sleepovers at our parent’s houses, trips to Florida to see Nana & Papa, to college graduations and more, Peri has always been there with a smile and the most contagious laugh I have ever heard. We may constantly joke about and take videos of the funny things Uncle Gary and Nana say (CICADERS!), but it only makes for the best memories.

Ryan Fillweber

Groomsman

Fill is one of the hardest working people I know and has the utmost integrity. I know that I can confide in him or ask for advice on anything. We've shared a strong bond since we were kids and share a passion for Liverpool, which has given me some of the greatest/worst feelings of my life. He gets me.

Kym Egan

Bridesmaid

Kym was my first friend from OT school! From the very first conversation, I knew we would get along well. Kym is constantly smiling and can make even the most stressful situations more fun, such as studying for tests, quizzes, and labs back in school (adding some wine to our study sessions never hurt, either). After graduating together in 2021, Kym and Abby have remained close despite new jobs and major life events. They’ve enjoyed trips to upstate New York and Vermont, days trips to breweries, nights out in Hoboken, and some crazy hangouts involving a hypothetical rake and too many gummies… Abby truly admires her friendship with Kym, and hopes to be a great wife and mama just like her one day!

Tom Towey

Groomsman

Moving to Boston for school without knowing anyone, especially having rarely left my home state, was a tough transition. Then Tom reached out to me on Facebook looking for a roommate, and right away I could sense how genuine and friendly he was. We hit it off instantly, and he’s become one of my best friends ever since. He made a difficult adjustment feel not so bad - and for that, we’re boys for life.

Dana Neligan

Bridesmaid

I have known Dana since OT school in 2017! It is crazy to think that just 8 years ago, she invited me to her apartment in South Orange where her now husband Kevin made fun of my *perfectly normal* socks, making it the running joke of the night. Dana is always a joy to be around and her smile can light up a room. Whether it’s a night out in the city, brunch on Stone Street, a weekend at the beach, or a girl’s night in, Dana is there with the best vibes. She is the down-to-earth, reliable, hold your hair back while you throw up on an airplane kind of friend that any girl would be lucky to have.

Dan Mataiev

Groomsman

The way Dan and I joke around feels genuinely brotherly. He values the important things: family, friendships, and a good adventure. Every time I fly across the country to see him, it’s one of the highlights of my year. I truly would’ve been lucky to grow up with someone like Dan as a brother.

Nikki Deehan

Bridesmaid

I first met Nikki in grad school at Seton Hall (even though I didn’t actually go to school there…just kidding!). Ever since then, I have been drawn to Nikki’s fun-loving and carefree attitude, as she makes life seem less serious and more like an adventure. Nikki was the first person I called for advice or to vent about boys, school, or life in general (and still is☺). There are too many memories to count, but a few include a trip to DC, nights out in Hoboken for Santa Con and music at Willie McBride’s, and a trip DTS with Dana including one wild night on the beach listening to Africa by Toto. I can’t wait to have Nikki stand by my side on my wedding day!

Evan Strassberg

Ring Bearer

Growing up with a sibling builds character, trust, a sense of humor, and love. I know that some of the things I love most about Abby come from the bond she shares with her brother Evan and the memories they created growing up together.

Julianna Duran

Flower Girl

Julianna is an amazing sister to Ryan and future sister to me. She may be the younger sister, but she carries herself so well that you wouldn’t know it. Julianna has made me feel like part of the family since day one. She always brings good energy to the party and is definitely the best dressed, too! I truly admire Julianna’s relationship with Ryan, as they genuinely make each other laugh like nothing I have seen before. Julianna is a wonderful sister, daughter, granddaughter, mother (mamacita?!), friend, and person, and I am lucky to call her family.
