Avondale is one of our favorite Jacksonville neighborhoods, with beautiful oak-lined streets, charming boutiques, and some of the city's best local restaurants. Start your morning with breakfast or brunch at Biscottis or The Fox Restaurant, enjoy dinner at Brick Restaurant, and end the day with a scoop of frozen custard from Whit's.
San Marco is one of our favorite spots for a date night and a must-visit if you have time to explore. Stroll through San Marco Square, enjoy dinner at Taverna or Town Hall, browse the local shops, and don't leave without picking up a sweet treat from Peterbrooke Chocolatier.
If you're looking to enjoy Florida's beautiful coastline, spend an afternoon in Neptune Beach. We love walking through Beaches Town Center, grabbing seafood at North Beach Fish Camp, enjoying tacos and margaritas at Flying Iguana, and ending the day with a drink overlooking the ocean at Lemon Bar.
Just a short drive north of Jacksonville, Amelia Island is one of our favorite places for a relaxing day trip. Spend time exploring the charming streets of Historic Fernandina Beach, enjoy fresh seafood at Timoti's Seafood Shak, browse the local shops along Centre Street, or unwind at The Ritz-Carlton or Omni Amelia Island Resort.
About an hour south of Jacksonville, St. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States and one of our favorite places to visit. Wander down St. George Street, tour the Castillo de San Marcos, and enjoy a delicious meal at Columbia Restaurant or Ice Plant Bar while taking in the city's rich history and charm.
