Growing up, our stories have been intertwined since Bellevue bed babies. During our elementary years, we often shared the same Sunday School, Bible Drill, and Homeschool classes. Beginning in middle school, our friendship truly began to form within our class friend group at Bellevue. As time went on, we remained friends despite differing high schools and different seasons of life. Although we each had “crushes” on each other throughout middle school and high school, we didn’t start dating until college. The first day of our freshman year in college, at Mississippi State (Abigail) and UT Knoxville (Noah), we began texting. During the Fall semester, we continued texting very frequently while we began finding community at our individual college campuses. As the first semester ended, the spark of our interest quickly rekindled as our high school friend group hung out over Winter break. As we moved into the Spring semester, we quickly began texting once again. Finally, we went to BYX Formal in Savannah, Georgia together, which quickly solidified that we wanted to be more than friends. After a great weekend, we had our first date at Starbucks where we openly discussed the potential of a dating relationship. On May 18th, 2024, we went to Shelby Farms Park on our second date to walk around the lake. After nearly ten miles of walking and multiple hours of talking, we officially started dating. The rest of the summer flew by. As our memorable summer came to a close, we began long distance in the Fall. We soon found a new normal with frequent facetimes and occasional visits. The distance naturally made us both more eager for breaks, where we would both be home and be able to spend more than a weekend together. Very quickly into our dating relationship, we realized that we wanted to spend the rest of lives together. We soon began brainstorming of our future together. Since both of our careers required a master’s degree, we were set on graduating undergraduate school a year early. We knew that we didn’t want to do another year of long distance, so we both chose to get our master’s at UT Knoxville so that we could be together. Our plans for the future quickly formed when we decided that we both wanted to get married before starting a new season of life, together in Knoxville. With this in mind, we got engaged on December 5th, 2025! We are so excited for our future together! It has been so cool to see how the Lord has intertwined our stories all throughout the years! We are so thankful for all of the many ways that God has worked in our lives, and we are trusting in His provision for our future together
