The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors unless there is inclement weather. The reception will be indoors and outdoors wherever you choose to spend your time. We are praying for no rain but of course you never know, so please dress in such a way that you can walk a good bit and potentially have a short walk in the rain.
Yes! We will have the Pig Roast Thursday night (usually the men of the family, with a good ole cigar in hand) Friday morning is for the ladies! We will be sipping some coffee and putting together last minute flowers etc. Friday lunch at Aunt Mary's for the immediate family and bridal parties. Friday evening Square Dance with dinner provided for everyone. Friday post-square dance we will have a worship night for anyone who would like to join. Saturday is THE BIG DAY!
Yes! Parking will be free and it is a short walk to the ceremony and reception space. Cart service will be provided for those that need assistance.

In short, please wear whatever you'd like. In long, (because I love details and expectation) I'm thinking (this is abigail btw!) not black tie but a tad up from jeans and a tee. Semi-formal, yes. An ounce above ur t-shirt dress, sure. That dress that you are just so confident in but it is a little too fancy to wear to most events, yes. Yes! Children are welcomed and we will have child-care onsite for parents who want to be able to still watch their kiddos but might want to freely hang! The caretakers will be passed childcare workers from state college, trusted friends of ours.
Plus Ones are difficult to accommodate for everyone of course, but if there is someone who you feel is super important in your life and you'd want them there, please reach out to nick or me and we will try to make it happen!!
There will be so many options that all gluten-free and common allergies will be accommodated for.
Pittsburg or Latrobe will be your closest to the venue. For you all, you can fly into State College and drive up with us as well -- we will most likely be spending half of the week in state college leading up to the wedding and the latter half at grandma Bastian's house.
For you all that would rather a free stay over a private room, Nicks parents are going to have an overload of air mattresses to hold anyone that wants to sleep at the house. For cousins, yall can stay with grandma of course! There are also a couple other houses in the area that people are offering up to guests. For people wanting their own room, there are hotel blocks at the hotels mentioned under the Travel Tab and a great amount of Air B&B's in the area!
