Nick and I had already spent a few days in Cocoa Beach, FL. Its one of our favorite spots! We spent plenty of time on the beach, played lots of mini golf, ate a lot of seafood, boogie boarded, and enjoyed every second of our vacation. We woke up at 6:30 that morning, I took my time making coffee as Nick tried to hurry me along. We then rode our bikes down to the beach. We walked along the shore as the sun was about to rise. Nick had planned for us to walk toward the peir but I wanted to walk in the other direction (which was not part of his plan). And after a few minutes of “lovingly” arguing (neither of us are morning people), we walked toward the peir. As the sun was coming over the horizon, Nick pointed out into the distance and I looked away. Then I turned around and Nick was down on one knee and he asked me to marry him! Our families had come running up behind us (taking me by suprise) taking pictures and vidoes. It was the best day of our lives thus far and perfectly planned out by Nick, down to every last detail.
