Abby and Nathan met at the University of Delaware (Go Blue Hens!) studying to be music teachers, but their real first connection took place where everyone meets who they are going to marry: the American Choral Director's Association National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri. Nathan had a great time, while Abby was sick and generally had a terrible time on the trip. Nathan was incredibly kind (and funny) while she wasn't feeling well and their friendship blossomed from there! On the way back from the airport, Abby even pretended to fall asleep in the car so that she could rest her head on Nathan's shoulder. She denied doing this for many years. Their love saga rolled on as they continued their studies at music school and, after many years of "will they won't they," Abby and Nathan finally came together for good senior year of college. They've been laughing, singing, and having the most fun together ever since.
