What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Our ceremony begins at 4:30 pm. We kindly request that you arrive by 4:00 pm to find your seat.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly submit your RSVP by June 15th. If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to make it.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is a Summer Formal event. We encourage guests to wear elegant attire suitable for warmer weather. Long or midi dresses in summery tones are perfect for women, while suits or dressy separates are ideal for men. We ask that shades of white, ivory, cream, and espresso brown be reserved for the bridal party.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones! For this occasion, however, we hope you will understand our decision to celebrate with adults only and take the night off!

Where should I stay?

Answer

First, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! We have provided a list of accommodations under our travel tab. We encourage our guests to consider booking their stay early since Saugatuck & Holland are very busy during the summer months.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outside in front of the Felt Estate Chapel. Following the ceremony, the grounds will be open for cocktail hour, during which guests can roam both inside and outside the estate. Our reception will be held in the tent on the grounds.

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available at the Felt Estate. If you plan to drive, please do so responsibly. Overnight parking is permitted, but all vehicles must be picked up by 10:00 AM the next morning.

Are there Uber/Lyfts in the area?

Answer

Rideshare options are limited in the area, particularly near the Felt Estate. If you will need transportation, we recommend staying at the hotel(s) where we will be providing a shuttle. For local transportation, Cyndi's Moonlight Express is a taxi service in the Saugatuck area and can be reached at (269) 910-3222. The Interurban is a demand-response public bus system that serves Saugatuck, Douglas, and Saugatuck Township - just call (269) 857-1418 to request a ride. The Saugatuck/Douglas Car Service is another option at (269) 543-3355. Please keep in mind that cell service near the lakeshore can be challenging and call ahead.
