Please RSVP at https://bit.ly/rsvp-to-abby-and-matt-wedding by July 1st!
We have been away from all of you for so long now on our "van life" road trip around the Western US. We opted for a more intimately sized wedding over a couple of days rather than one night with a large guest list because what matters most to us is celebrating with our closest loved ones. We hope that everyone will attend for the full weekend and that we will all get to soak up quality time together, coming away from the weekend with hearts full and having enjoyed the time to connect with each other!
For now we only have space for explicitly invited friends and family due to space limitations, but we will reach out to you if space opens up, which seems likely from the current perspective.
Yes, thank you! We have a registry on this website you can contribute to which you can find in the website menu. If you prefer to use Venmo rather than credit card, you can send gifts to the Venmo account @kohlikohl
There is space for 15 cars at the venue and we are contractually obligated to not exceed this limit. Please coordinate with others to carpool!
Summer semi-formal. The surface the ceremony and reception will be held on is paved, but the ground from your cabin to the lodge area is unpaved. Any questions, just holler!
Barring weather events, the ceremony and celebration will be held outside. In fact, expect to spend a lot of the weekend outdoors.
On average, the temperature in Cle Elum at this time of year is in the mid-70s (around 24 celsius). Be prepared for hot temperatures as well as cooler nights. The weather in Seattle can be very different than it is in Cle Elum as there is a mountain range in between. When it is raining and cloudy in Seattle, it could be warm, dry and sunny in Cle Elum. Bring sunscreen, a light jacket, and maybe an umbrella even though the chance of rain is low.
We recommend bringing a swimsuit to enjoy the pool and hot tub, good walking shoes for exploring, and sunglasses (these are notoriously forgotten by travelers visiting Washington!) Oh, and don't forget your DANCING SHOES! *See question regarding food provided below, but please store any food you bring in the communal kitchen or in the mini fridge in your room.
We will have a photographer on site from 2pm until 8pm on Saturday. Please enjoy the ceremony with phones and cameras put away. Our photographer will start taking photos of you all around 3pm.
Accommodations are provided for everyone at the venue for both Friday and Saturday night. Most people will be lodging in cozy duplex cabins around the property, and we will do our best to provide everyone with the space they need. Each room has a Queen Bed, 2 Full Beds, and a private bathroom with a shower. Other amenities provided in each room: a dining table, fans (no air conditioning), microwaves, small fridges, and coffee makers.
Yes! While we are only providing accommodation for the wedding weekend, we'd love to see our out-of-town friends for longer. We appreciate you traveling so far to celebrate with us. Let us know when you'll be in the area and we can enjoy Washington adventures together!
Sorry, no dogs, cats or snakes are allowed on the property.
We are providing pizza on Friday, bagels and cream cheese on Saturday and Sunday morning and catered dinner for the reception. If you would like extra snacks or a lunch on Saturday, please bring it yourself. We will provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Please specify your preferences in the RSVP.
You have our phone numbers! Don't hesitate to reach out if we missed answering any questions here. :)
