Red Rocks is open to the public from sunrise to sunset year-round! If they have a show they close at 2 PM to the public. See if you can catch a concert, or just go to explore or hike. It's beautiful!

Want to get a little deeper into the mountains? Drive 45 minutes down the I-70 to Georgetown. Stop at the Bighorn Sheep overlook to try and spot some wild rams, or book tickets on the historic Georgetown Loop train (1-3 hours, depending on package).
A little bit south of Denver, Roxborough State Park is an awesome spot to hike, explore some Colorado history, and maybe even see some wildlife. A day pass is $10/car.
