We're getting married!

Our story unfolded in fall of 2017, but it really began much earlier than you might expect. From a very young age we had been around each other, though we may not have known they existed, as we both had the same family friend. We have sat across from each other at birthday parties and played together at the lake, but we didn’t truly meet until much later. Our first real encounter was when I started marching band at Elmore County High School. Kyle played the saxophone while I played the French Horn. The long days and late nights spent with the band drew us together, and soon enough we were joking together while riding the bus. Finally on October 16, 2017, Kyle took a leap of faith and messaged me through Instagram. Many texts, calls, and even a goat show later Kyle asked me to be his girlfriend with a candy cane Christmas cookie, and the rest was history! - A.
