The location of our wedding has changed. It is no longer taking place in Mountain Home, Arkansas. It is now taking place in Nixa, Missouri. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause but we thank you for your flexibility! The website has been updated to show the new address. Please reach out if you have any questions. Can't wait to celebrate our love with y'all!
Kody and Abigail’s story began way back in 2007. It was love at first sight… at least for Kody. Kody was best friends with Adam, Abigail’s younger brother, and quickly developed a crush on Adam’s older sister, Abby. Abby, on the other hand, saw Kody as just another little brother. That didn’t stop Kody’s crush—or the hopeful dreams of Stephanie (Abby’s mom) and Tara (Kody’s mom), who were convinced their kids would one day get married so they could be best friends forever too. Life went on, and years passed. Then in 2021, Kody and Abby saw each other for the first time in a long while. Abby had a new thought: When did Kody get so tall… and cute? Still, Abby was living in California and Kody in Missouri, so the moment came and went. Fast forward to July 2023, when Kody decided to Snapchat Abigail—just to say hi. From that moment on, everything changed. God was clearly at work. Abigail already had a trip planned to Missouri in August, and while she was there, the two finally spent real time together. They wondered if it would feel strange or sibling-like… or if there might be something more. Needless to say, this time it truly was love at first sight—well, kind of, since they had already known each other for 16 years. They became inseparable. Eventually, Abigail had to return to California, but the two chose to do long distance. After roughly seven months apart, in January 2024, Abigail packed up her life (and her doggies) and made the cross-country drive with Kody by her side. That same year, they moved in together, bought their first home in December 2024, and were married in an intimate ceremony in July 2025. Now, as they prepare to celebrate their wedding in May 2026, they can’t help but marvel at God’s perfect timing. Who would have thought those two little kids would grow up to marry each other? Their story brought two families close again, gave Adam not only his best friend but also a brother-in-law, and fulfilled two mamas’ long-held dreams. God truly had a plan for them—and they are endlessly grateful for where He has led them.
