But that's to be expected of college, right? We met early in the first semester of our freshman year at CNU – Kevin lived on the first floor and eagerly followed the "open door policy," helping lead to as many introductions and run-ins with as many people as possible. As soon as we met, whenever that was, there was an instant friend connection. Although we had different groups of friends and ran in different circles, there was no denying the closeness and deep friendship that had formed. Three years later, that friendship formed into an even deeper bond when we started dating our senior year. We'll be the first ones to admit dating a close friend is dangerous - we know too much - but we agree that's what makes our relationship so special. Over the course of life's many adventures, like graduation, trips and family vacations, the loss and start of jobs, finding a church family, and SO much more, we have immensely grown. Our growth, both as individuals and as a couple, has further strengthened our bond together. Now, we find ourselves living in downtown Norfolk, a city neither of us expected to call home, as best friends who found their happily ever after. We could not be more excited to celebrate the next step of our journey with you. Thank you all for being such an important part of our lives – see you in Richmond!
