We both started our first day back at Eisenhower High School as a sophomore and a junior. We walked into math class and realized we had the same teacher, Mr. Noch. Honestly, the only thing I truly remember from that day is how much Kameron made me laugh. That is when my crush began. Of course, Kameron had absolutely no idea. As the year went on, we kept talking during math class. Then basketball season rolled around, and Kameron suddenly didn’t have as much time for homework. That’s when he started texting me every night to ask for the math assignment. Knowing he was going to text, I would rush home and get my homework done right away. I’m pretty sure that was the best math grade I ever had in high school, all thanks to him. As the months passed, our friend groups started blending together, and by summer we were all spending more and more time hanging out. Those warm summer days made everything feel easy and exciting. And finally, by the end of summer, Kameron caught on that I had liked him the whole time. On August 31, 2017, he took me on a walk at the park and officially asked me to be his girlfriend. We’ve been together ever since, and it all started in math class.
