Jennifer Martin is Abby's cousin. Her most vivid childhood memories were spent on the farm with Abby and her siblings, MJ, Simon, and Adam. Jennifer’s fondest memory of Abby is playing and practicing gymnastics in their grandma's front yard. Jennifer is married to Justin Martin, who is currently serving in the U.S. Navy. Their children are Atticus (4) and Gideon (3). Atticus and Gideon have inherited their parent's love for the outdoors. Their favorite adventures include hikes in the sequoias and in Yosemite.

Morgan and Abby met in the kindergarten fingerprint line and have been inseparable ever since - clearly a lifelong bond sealed by ink. From riding the school bus for the very first time to somehow surviving college, they have supported each other through all of life's twists and turns. Their adventures have included everything from rollercoasters and beach trips to long walks with Morgan's beast of an animal, Suki. Morgan is a Human Resource Partner at Bridgestone Americas in Charlotte, North Carolina. In her spare time, she enjoys long naps, getting lost in a good book, reality TV, and, of course, going for walks. This August marks Morgan and Abby's 19th anniversary of friendship, which means Morgan has seniority. She is beyond happy for Abby and Kaigan, but would like to make one thing clear. She loved Abby first, and she has the fingerprint evidence to prove it.
Chloe Ferko

Abby and Chloe have been friends since they were kids. From playing dolls at their county 4-H meetings to "narrowly" escaping a tornado, their friendship has truly weathered life's storms. Chloe's favorite memories were crowning Abby as Somerset County Fair Queen the year after she herself held the title and their many, many sleepovers. Chloe is in school to become a clinical mental health counselor and enjoys spending time with her dog, Bentley, and guinea pig, Marley.
Amy Hammer

Cousin to the bride, expert in family gossip, and deemed to be a bad influence. Amy has known Abby since birth, which can be a long time for some, but when you both only have brothers for siblings, sometimes you need a sister. Favorite memories include their ongoing photography series, traveling to different fairs, traveling to rifle matches and making the boys cry, going to the movies, sleepovers, and cooking pumpkin soup with their Aunt Mary Jane. Amy is a Permit Coordinator at RESPEC in Central City and enjoys spending her free time with friends and family and her cat, Toby. Amy is so excited for Abby and Kaigan’s special day and is forever grateful to stand by their side. Wishing them all the best and happiness!

Friendship can overcome anything...even a good cattle rivalry. Abby and Iliana have been friends for years, despite Abby's family raising Angus and Iliana's family raising Pinzgauers. Even when Abby was on crutches during fair week, Ili was right there to help take care of the superior Knapp Angus cattle (don't tell her Dad). In her spare time, Ili loves baking, playing video games, traveling, and doing puzzles - many of which she loves doing with Abby.
Meradi Knapp

Meradi has looked up to her older cousin, Abby, her whole life. Some of her favorite memories with Abby include traveling around Europe and New England. She especially loves doing photography sessions with Abby, where she has learned all the best poses and lighting techniques. At 15 years old, Meradi is entering 10th grade at Bishop McCort. She is a dedicated ballerina with the Johnstown Concert Ballet and the Master Ballet Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona. She also enjoys playing violin with the Johnstown Symphony Youth Orchestra. Meradi is truly honored to be a part of Abby and Kaigan's special day.
Zelie Merrill

Zelie Merrill has been friends with Abby since they were young and was excited to become a cousin in 2023! Favorite memories with Abby include hiking on KnappTime farm, cooking whatever delicious creations they can dream up for holidays and even traveling together. One adventure even included them unknowingly entering a reggae dance competition and earning the nickname "Dancing Queens." Zelie and her husband Christopher live in Tampa and are thrilled to be welcoming their first baby in September!

Mikayla O’Brien knew Abby through Abby‘s grandmother, Barb, but became good friends with her through both of their involvement in the Somerset County Fair Queen Program. They have travelled all across Pennsylvania together promoting agriculture education and taste testing fair food - a pastime that sometimes sparked heated debates between Mikayla and Abby's Father, Michael, over which fair treat was best. Mikayla is a full-time middle school ELA teacher and married to the love of her life, her dairy farmer husband, Matthew. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and spending time with their three dogs, Chunky, June, and Danny.

As siblings, Keara and Kaigan have been each other's biggest supporters and toughest critics her entire life. From daily bickering, sneaking downstairs on Christmas morning, and Kaigan embarrassing Keara at every opportunity, they have built countless cherished memories together. Keara is grateful for the gift of having a front-row seat to Kaigan's life. Her favorite part was watching him find his person. Known for her soft spot for stray animals (much to her mom's dismay), she is always off on some kind of side quest and confidently claims she always wins any argument with Kaigan. In her free time, Keara can be found at the gym, rewatching "The Vampire Diaries" (for at least the 15th time), playing with her dog, or spending time with her friends.
Chiara Knapp

Chiara is Abby’s goddaughter and the daughter of Abby’s brother, Adam Knapp, and his wife, Liz. Even in the womb, Chiara has taken after her aunt and was fashionably late in her entrance to the world. In her short time here, she has admired her aunt’s faith, dedication to her family, hard work in her career, and love of baking. She hopes that one day Aunt Abby will teach her how to fly helicopters. Her favorite memory with Uncle Flash was at Christmas when he would put her in air time-out, and when he visited her at Easter when she was just a few weeks old. Chiara is very excited to be a part of Abby and Kaigan’s special day and will do her best to throw as many flowers down the aisle as she can! (As long as she doesn’t have to clean them up after.)
Derek Harrington
Best Man
Derek and Kaigan have known each other throughout their childhood. They always were in the same classes throughout school and constantly worked together on projects. Extracurricularly, they had always done different things until senior year, when Kaigan convinced him to do both glorified drowning and long-distance running. Some of Derek’s most fond memories with Kaigan involve ambushing Towanda’s basketball team with ample percussion equipment; making it to Rise of the Resistance from several miles away in just 15 minutes, and late night Full Metal Jacket inspired gym sessions. Derek’s favorite part of Kaigan’s life was watching him grow, not only into the engineer Derek knew he could be, but also into a soldier, man, and soon-to-be husband.

Drake has known Kaigan since freshman year of college. For the first two years, Drake only knew Kaigan by his pseudonym, Flash. One of Drake's favorite memories is prank calling Flash from the Willow lobby phone while Abby was on duty. Drake is a Large Motor Engineer for the Westinghouse Electric Company.

Noah has known Kaigan since they were kids. They bonded through band as well as Clash Royale, quiz league, FBLA, board games, campfires, nights at the movies, bowling, and trips to amusement parks. Noah remembers "Kaigan Moves" that never fail to make everyone laugh, such as asking Mr. Werner for number 11, coining the catchphrases 'Skdoosh' and 'Zeus Juice', and yelling out 'Did somebody say... BLUES BROTHERS!?'. A fun fact about Noah is that he has gone on a 20-mile hike (never again). His hobbies include basketball, drumming, and board games. For work, he is an assistant tennis coach and assistant sports information director at Bard College.

James and Kaigan have known each other since college at UPJ. They bonded over the mutual pain of engineering school and college coming out of the COVID era. James has fond memories serving on Kaigan's cabinet in the UPJ student government and going to NYC with him, Abby, and friends. James is an engineer at a Johnstown steel mill and during the fall is a PIAA Football Official.
