Our love blossomed in possibly the most romantic location of ALL time... a cadaver lab! But, let's back up. We first met at work. We were introduced by a mutual work friend inside the cafeteria one day. A few months passed with a hello here and there, until Josh agreed to help Abigail teach one of her health classes. As the resident health expert, Josh taught Abigail's class about nutrition and healthy habits. After class that day, Josh stayed behind and chatted with Abigail long after the class ended. We then went two more months until seeing each other again. Both of us agreed to help chaperone a field trip for our school's forensic science class. That's right, we were headed to the cadaver lab! In between anatomy lessons and catching students before they passed out, the chemistry was undeniable. Our love was to DIE for. Later that day, Josh and Abigail exchanged numbers and agreed to get drinks that evening. Abigail was so excited she even left her class that she had for her masters degree early that night... sorry Mom and Dad! After meeting at a local bar and not wanting the night to end, we then traveled to get pizza, visited Dave and Buster's, and went line dancing. It was quite the evening. Promptly planning date number two a few days later. On date number two, Abigail sealed the deal with a kiss... with Willow. Date number two quickly turned into date number three, and we have not been apart since. We have chosen to keep the ceremony private and do an elopement style wedding in Alaska. While we are choosing a more intimate ceremony, we would still be delighted to celebrate with everyone in Chicago shortly after.
