Til Death do us Part

Abigail and Joseph met where all of the greatest love stories begin… Tinder. But, unknowingly to them they had been mere steps away from each other back in 2019 in Boone, North Carolina. Both Abigail and Joseph attended Appalachian State University, and even though the student population is almost 20,000 it became evident that Joseph was friends with many people in Abigail’s dorm. It was also discovered that the following year in college, Joseph lived at the end of the same road that Abigail did. This could be pure coincidence or subtle red string theory (it’s more romantic to believe red string theory LOL). Abigail and Joseph fell in love quickly. Through cooking dates at home, travelling, and playing tennis, it became clear that this was a love that neither of them had experienced before. Almost two years later they share two cats (Bao and Gus) and one dog (Theo) together. In 2025, the couple planned their first international trip together to Japan and secretly Joseph planned to propose to Abigail on this trip. During their first morning in Tokyo, on September 29th, Joseph took Abigail to Hinokicho Park and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said yes!
