FAQs

If you have any other questions or need clarification on anything feel free to reach out to the couple at 412-554-0296 (bride) or 724-600-4775 (groom). Thank you!
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that all of our guests follow a formal dress code. We want to take the opportunity to see everyone all dressed up. Examples: Ladies; midi/ankle length to floor length dresses, or pantsuits with flats or heels (wear stilettoes with caution, the floors within the venue are cobblestone which could make walking or dancing complicated) Gentlemen; fitted suits with a tie (bowtie optional) with dress shoes or your favorite "dress boots". ABSOLUTELY NO JEANS, SWEATPANTS/LEGGINGS, GRAPHIC TEES OR SNEAKERS WILL BE PERMITTED!!! Any further questions about wardrobe please feel free to reach out to the bride at 412-554-0296. Thank you!

Question

Is there anything we should avoid wearing?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you do NOT wear jeans, sweatpants/leggings, graphic tees or sneakers to our event. Please avoid whites, creams, ivories, and champagne as those are colors reserved for the bride. We also ask you avoid dark green as that is the wedding party color and/or anything that would potentially photograph white (light pink/light blue). Thank you!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

The short answer is NO. Respectfully, we have chosen to have a child-free wedding and will not accommodate anyone under the age of 21. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Can I bring a plus one/guest?

Answer

Due to a limited guest count and the desire to create an intimate celebration between close friends and family we are only accommodating those listed on your formal wedding invitations. If you are still unsure if you have received a plus one, their name (or 'guest') will also appear under yours when you RSVP on the website.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking that you please RSVP no later than August 1. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as 'not attending' as we will need to turn in a final guest count to the venue shortly after the deadline. You will be missed!

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

There is a designated section of the website entitled 'RSVP', please go there and select your name(s) and your response. We are also including a paper RSVP card with your invitations, those can be sent back to us within the same time frame as the online RSVP if you choose to do that instead. Paper RSVPs that are not received by the deadline (August 1) will also be marked as 'not attending'.

Question

What do I do if I RSVP yes but can no longer attend?

Answer

We understand things come up and situations change, we just ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can edit the final guest count for the venue and catering team.

Question

Where will the wedding be taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at DiSalvo's Station immediately following one another.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place indoors.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

DiSalvo's Station asks that all guests park in their front lot off of Depot Street in Latrobe. Do not worry about having change for the meters, they offer free parking on the weekends!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We ask guests to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to allow time to find a seat and get settled. If you arrive later than 4:45pm, please respect the couple and wait until after the ceremony has completed to enter. We'd love to have you for dinner and the reception.

Question

What is the seating arrangement like for the ceremony? Reception?

Answer

The ceremony will have open seating at a first come first serve basis. We just ask you save the first few rows for immediate family. The table assignments for the reception can be found on the seating chart that will be placed in the entry tunnel. Feel free to take a look at it while entering or during cocktail hour.

Question

Can I take my own photos or videos throughout the day?

Answer

We have elected to have an unplugged ceremony. For this, we ask all phones and/or cameras be put away and there be no photos or videos taken during this time. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment, so use this as a time to take it all in and be present with us. Prints and/or digital copies of any photos can be requested from the bride and groom at any time once we have received them. During the reception please feel free to utilize those devices and take as many photos and/or videos as you'd like. We just ask that you refrain from posting anything until after we do. Thank you for the cooperation!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, DiSalvo's Station offers 4 hours of open bar following the ceremony (excluding dinner hour).

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

In lieu of a "traditional" registry we have opted to start a honeymoon fund instead. It can be found under the 'Registry' tab on the website. In addition to the fund, we have added a few household items for those who want to send a gift but are not comfortable with the idea of simply gifting money.

Question

What do I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you choose to RSVP online there is a designated spot to list all dietary restrictions. If you choose to mail in your RSVP card, please just reach out to the bride and/or groom with your restrictions and we will be sure to make note of it. Thank you!
