As long as you aren't wearing white, we'll be happy!
We want everyone to be present in the moment, so we are running a phone-free ceremony. Upon entering the venue, we will provide guests with a designated area to store their phones during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer, and will be more than glad to share pictures of the event with you once we receive them.
Due to restrictions on guest count placed by the venue, only those listed explicitly on your invitation envelope are permitted to attend. Please plan accordingly.
Due to restrictions on guest count placed by the venue, we will be having a kid free wedding, please plan accordingly!
Due to the nature of the venue, a reception is not feasible. We only have the spot for 2 hours and want to prioritize the ceremony, rather than feeling pressured to rush through anything. After the ceremony is complete, we will be glad to hang out with our guests, but we must be out of the space no later than 8:30pm.
No outside foods or drinks, including alcohol, are allowed. We will not be providing any, as we are limited in time, and want to prioritize the ceremony and photos with family.
No smoking, vaping, or use of other tobacco products allowed on Alamo grounds.
The Alamo itself does not offer parking, but there are numerous parking lots nearby. The closest is the SP+ Parking, located at 824 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78205. You can reserve and pay in advance for this particular lot.
There are lots of wonderful hotels in the area surrounding The Alamo. If you're looking for a historic feel, we personally recommend The Menger, which is conveniently located right across the street from the Alamo. If you're looking for something more modern, we recommend the Hyatt Place San Antonio/Riverwalk.
No pets (except ADA service animals) are allowed inside Alamo grounds.
