Family & Friends, Wedding planning has looked a little different in this season. In light of Covid-19, we are aware that many of you may not be able to attend our Ceremony and we want you to know that we understand... For those traveling from afar, we understand the uncertainty & different levels of severity you may be facing regarding the virus & the difficulty or inability to say “Yes” to an RSVP. Some of you may be high risk or uncomfortable attending a ceremony and we understand that too. If you have to send wishes and love instead of being physically present with us at the ceremony, we will cherish it deeply, knowing you would be here if circumstances were different. Your health & safety are a priority to us. And we understand & love you.
For those who will be attending... We have not neglected Covid-19 in our planning and are taking precautions. It may be hot in August, but we were happy to plan the day in fresh air, knowing the decrease in risk. We will have sanitizer accessible and available. We ask that you maintain social distancing as we do our best to plan for it when it comes to seating, table arrangements, and food distribution. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to wear one. Lastly, if you are sick or not feeling well or have been around anyone who may have been sick, please skip this occasion. It’s not worth the risk to other family or guests and this won’t be our only chance to celebrate with you—we promise! This entire wedding planning process is not the way we may have wished or hoped it could be—but for such a time as this—John and I know we don’t want to wait to continue moving towards a life together for as long as the Lord allows. Here is what we know & can cling to... We find hope in Jesus that will not disappoint. We find peace in Jesus that is so real and tangible that it doesn’t make sense. God is in control. He is who He says He is. He is consistently at work. He is not surprised or uninformed. He wrote this story already. He wrote our story already. Romans 8:28 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” You are here, reading this note, because you have had an impact or connection to John or I. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being apart of our lives. We cannot wait to celebrate with you. Love, The Future Mrs. Hanstein
