We’re Getting Married!

It all started on April 5th, 2019, with a simple Snapchat add. Abigail was in Texas, Jackson was in North Carolina — just two high schoolers living states apart, not knowing that one small moment would change everything. After months of talking, Abigail decided to visit Jackson in January 2020 — just to make sure he was a real person (a little scary, we know!). They spent time together, and by the time she had to fly back home, something had shifted. They officially started dating on January 5th, the same day she left. By May, she came back to visit again… and never left. Building Our Life Since then, our journey has been full of crazy adventures and unforgettable memories. We’ve lived in a cozy Charlotte apartment, survived a year in a camper, and recently bought our very first home and land together. It’s been a wild ride, but one full of love, laughter, and a whole lot of growth. We never could’ve imagined this life back when we first added each other online. But God clearly had a plan — one so much better than anything we could have written ourselves. What we share is a story no one else can tell, and because of how crazy, beautiful, and unexpected it’s been, we’ve learned to truly cherish every moment. Every high, every challenge, every quiet night. It wasn’t always easy, but it was always meant to be. The Proposal Just a week after moving into our first home, Jackson surprised Abigail with a romantic dinner in a glass greenhouse hidden in the forest. That night, he proposed. It was the surprise of a lifetime. Abigail had always imagined she’d know when it was coming — especially with Jackson's not-so-secretive personality — but he completely pulled it off. The moment that stole her breath? Her mom appearing from behind the greenhouse. Jackson had flown her all the way from Texas, just to be there. As soon as he dropped to one knee, Abigail was completely overwhelmed — she started screaming, crying, laughing, all at once. It was everything she’d imagined and so much more. She expected excitement and happiness, but what she felt went beyond that — it was pure, powerful, and emotional. It was perfect. Us We’re grounded, open-minded, and know how to find joy in even the dullest moments. We talk and laugh for hours, we challenge each other, and we balance each other in all the right ways. We’re spontaneous — the kind of couple who’ll turn a random Tuesday into a road trip, or say “yes” to a new adventure just because it feels right. We love the outdoors, admiring how beautiful this world is, whether we’re hiking through the woods, sitting under the stars, or just taking in the quiet around us. Nature is our escape, our reminder to breathe deeply and live fully. We mentally and physically push each other — encouraging growth, confidence, and strength in all aspects of life. We lift each other up, hold each other accountable, and never stop striving to be better — for ourselves and for one another. We push each other to see the good in all things: in people, in challenges, in the slow and messy parts of life. Whether we’re dancing in the kitchen, building a life from scratch, or chasing sunsets on a whim, we make the most of every second. We’re stronger together — always learning, always loving. We’re different, we’re alike, and together… we just fit. Like that last puzzle piece — the one that snaps perfectly into place. We are so ready for whatever God and life have in store for us in the future. Whatever comes next, we’re ready to face it — together.
