We’re getting married!

We met over an Easter dinner at a friend’s house. There was food, family, and friend’s with kids running around playing. We had confetti eggs and lots of laughter. During that time, there were glances in each other’s direction and small conversations. I didn’t think too much of it at the time, but looking back, that random weekend ended up being the start of something pretty special.

We had just gotten back from Texas on Christmas Eve and we’re still catching our breath from the holidays when we had family pictures scheduled for December 28th. It felt like one more thing during a busy week - but little did I know, something way more memorable was about to happen. During the photo session, we went to a special spot - somewhere that already meant a lot to us. I thought we were taking another picture, but then he pulled me aside, got down on one knee, and proposed. It was the easiest “yes” of my life. The best part? We got to share the moment surrounded by family, and the whole thing was captured in photos well treasure forever.
