What started as a random encounter at a pool table slowly turned into a budding romance. It all started with an impromptu singalong and trading jokes. It then became seeing each other daily at the clubhouse playing pool. We navigated through highs and lows together eventually growing closer; by spring 2017, we were inseparable. Our first date went awry almost as quickly as it began; the restaurant we picked out was under renovation, so we picked Tokyo which was an acceptable substitute. After that date, we were hooked and made a tradition: every six months, we would go to a hibachi restaurant to reminisce. Over the years, our relationship has grown through moving in together, surviving a pandemic (shortly after getting engaged), and enduring a year long physical separation. It is with great joy that we are finally tying the knot. We are excited for what the future holds for us.
