FAQs

If your question is not covered below please reach out to Abi. If you procrastinated and today is the wedding contact Jay.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience. If I have not heard from you by April 1st, 2025 your invitation will be revoked.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to park no later than 4:30. Shuttle service begins at 4:00. The ceremony will begin at 5pm, however you will need to shuttle from parking to the ceremony site so account for extra time upon arrival.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our secluded location means that guest parking is located at 22 Dillard Road, Blairsville, GA 30512. There you will find ample parking and our Shuttle will bring you a scenic 2 miles (around 3 minutes) to the venue located at 540 Young Cane Creek Rd, Blairsville, GA 30512. Shuttle service begins one hour prior to the ceremony so please arrive at least 30 minutes prior. Our driver will be available following the wedding until all guests are returned to their Vehicles. There is no parking at the wedding venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Along with our shuttle going to parking it will also do drop off/pick up from Copperhead Lodge. We recommend spending the weekend there as it's a lovely space that offers both cabins and rooms. If you plan on staying at an airbnb be prepared to drive or plan an Uber drive in advance since it is a more remote area without a poppin' Uber scene.

Question

Do I have to get a gift from the wedding registry?

Answer

No, quite frankly we're pretty disappointed with the Zola registry tool. Feel free to do whatever feels right for you and your budget. We're easy to please!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

This is a small intimate ceremony of 25. Please only bring a plus one if we have offered one on your invite.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is garden attire. Although not required the bride would love it if everyone wore spring colors like pinks, oranges, yellows, and other light bright colors. Florals are also suggested as we aim to have a springtime whimsical day with wild flowers and the gorgeous mountain trees. (This is also a friendly reminder to take an allergy pill if needed.)
