Ferry service from Woods Hole, MA to Martha's Vineyard. You do not need a car on Martha's Vineyard, but if you want to bring yours, you can take your car on the ferry. There are trips every hour, but check the website for the schedule. Reservations are open so if you are bringing a car, we recommend you book your reservation ASAP because these do fill up.

Martha's Vineyard Fast Ferry
If you aren't bringing your car to Martha's Vineyard, the Martha's Vineyard Fast Ferry is a quick and affordable way to travel. You can drive to the ferry and park your car in the lot or you can take Amtrak to Kingston, RI where a shuttle will transport you to the ferry stop. It is a 90-minute trip from Quonset, Rhode Island to Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard and there are two ferries per day.
