When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony so that we will have plenty of time to seat everyone.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to join us in semi-formal attire to honor the significance of our special day. For men, this means button-up shirts with dress pants, and for women, cocktail dresses or similar elegant attire. As our ceremony will take place in a church, we encourage a respectful and traditional approach to dress, but feel free to enjoy fun spring colors! All events will happen between 11 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon so be conscious of Alabama weather in May, but all our venues are indoors and easily accessible, keeping us out of the summer heat. We also kindly request that guests avoid wearing blue jeans to maintain the formal tone of the event. Your presence and thoughtful attention to the dress code will make our celebration even more memorable!

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture the ceremony. To help us preserve the sanctity and intimacy of our ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during this time. We want you to fully immerse yourselves in the moment with us, and we can’t wait to share the professional photos with you afterward. However, feel free to take as many photos as you like at the reception—we’d love to see and share in your reception memories later, too!

Will Children be invited to the ceremony or reception?

Answer

As much as the couple loves children, only the children of the family, wedding party, or those directly involved will be invited. The venue is small and intimate and not well suited for energetic kiddos. Your RSVP will include all those who are invited to the events. Thank you for understanding!

Who is included on my family's invite?

Answer

We have taken care to list our invitees and their guests in our RSVP system. Please mark attendance for those who are listed as part of your invite. You will not be able to mark attendance for additional guests. Unfortunately, we are limited in seating and will not be able to include everyone. If you have any questions or concerns about who is included with your RSVP, please reach out to us directly!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our RSVP system through Zola will allow you to RSVP for a date if applicable. Unfortunately, there will not be seats at the reception for anyone who did not RSVP an attendance on our website. We need everyone in attendance to RSVP on Zola so that we can assign them a seat. If you have any questions or concerns about who is included with your invitation, please reach out to us directly!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP, you will be given an optional text box to let us know what your dietary restrictions are. We will then let the catering staff know about the accommodations and they will ensure that you are served a meal that you can enjoy!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking at both the ceremony and reception venues.
