What should our attire be?

Answer

The theme for our wedding is enchanting romance. This entails business casual or cocktail attire. We ask that men wear khakis, dress pants, or nice jeans with a nice shirt like a polo or button down. For women, we ask that you wear tailored pants/skirts, blouses or a nice top, and sundresses/cocktail dresses. For our color theme, we do ask that you do not wear any neon/brightly colored clothes, to aim for uniformity within photos. *Please do bring a change of comfortable shoes to dance the night away in!

Will I be able to bring my children/a plus one?

Answer

As much as we adore all of the kiddos in our lives, we have decided to have an Adults-Only wedding day. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we hope that this will allow you to enjoy your time with us, worry free! *If you are unable to arrange childcare, we completely understand and respectfully ask that you celebrate with us, from afar! We truly appreciate your understanding. To keep our celebration intimate, we respectfully ask that only guests invited formally via paper invite, attend. We are unable to accommodate any additional guests! We thank you for your cooperation and understanding! We are so grateful for your love and support as we prepare for our special day!

Why isn't there a gift registry?

Answer

Since we already live together, we are not in need of most household items. We would greatly appreciate any contributions towards making our honeymoon a dream trip! The money you would be contributing to us would go toward our travel, experiences, food expenses, etc. on the trip! This is why we would prefer to just do a cash fund for those things! We want an exciting and memorable experience, and you would be helping us, by gifting us in that way! We have a section where you can donate via the website, but we would also accept donations through our venmo account: @AbbyDakota2026

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will be serving some alcohol at our wedding, but you are also welcomed/encouraged to bring drinks of your choice. Please drink responsibly!

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Everyone will need to be heading out by 10:30pm, as the venue closes promptly at 11pm. However, this will be plenty of time to have a fun time together!

What if i forget to rsvp?

Answer

In order to finalize arrangements with our venue and vendors, we kindly request that all guests RSVP by the indicated date. Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate guests who have not responded by the deadline. We will assume that you are unable to attend and will miss you dearly, but ask that respectfully you don't attend, as there will be no accommodations for you. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We have hired professional photographers/videographers to document this special time for us. Sometimes phones tend to get in the way of the line of sight for other guests or our photographers, which can be disruptive. We both would appreciate if everyone just stayed in the moment with us- without your phones. We ask that your phones be put away and on silent/off during the time of our ceremony! This will help our professionals execute our photos in the most reasonable and intimate way. The reception is free game, but we are trying to keep our ceremony as intimate as possible!
