Amelia is Abbey's sister. She is going into her Junior year at Messiah College and is double majoring in Spanish and Environmental Science. She loves to travel, be with friends, and go on spontaneous adventures. She enjoys painting in her free time. If she could be an animal, she would be a lemur because they are funny, playful, social and adventurous.
Alec Barbee
Best Man
Alec met Dakota at church in middle school. They were in that "awkward phase" of life where you’re figuring out what group of people you belong with, and the two of them started to hang out. They bonded over similar tastes in music, volunteering in music/media for youth events, and playing guitar. Alec is a full-time professional musician, composer, and producer. Alec has perfect pitch (the ability to identify or re-create any given musical note). Alec would describe himself as a fox because he is reserved by nature, preferring subtlety to flashiness. He would rather let his actions and abilities speak for themselves than try to sell ideas through words. He tries to adapt to any environment so that he is not limited.
Kimberly Lindquist
Matron of Honor
Kimberly is Abbey's sister-in-law. Their first meeting was working out at the Messiah College gym after Josiah started dating her in 2012. Kimberly is a Pilates Instructor in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Kimberly has played with lemurs in Madagascar. If Kimberly could be an animal, she would want to be a giraffe because they are tall and they have always been her favorite animal.
Josiah Lindquist

Josiah is Abbey's older brother. Josiah met Dakota one time when Josiah was napping on the couch at their parent's house and Abbey introduced them. Josiah works as a Risk and Compliance Specialist at IKEA. Josiah biked 2.5 thousand miles last summer. He started in Pennsylvania, traveled through New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and ended in Maine. If he could be any animal, he would want to be a mongoose because they have the ability to overcome the fear associated with the risk, seeing an opportunity and being willing to assume the risk associated at overcoming potential pitfalls.
Abbi O'Connor

Abbey and Abbi met each other in 4th grade Sunday school class room. Abbey did not like the fact that there was another girl with the same name as her, but that did not stop Abbi from wanting to be friends. Both of them were homeschooled and spent a lot of time growing up with each other and are inseparable friends. In our free time, we love to hang out at the beach, blast Taylor Swift, and talk in Spanish. She is a science teacher at an outdoor education center in Maryland. She would be a red fox because they are reserved but adventurous. She just hiked the West Highland Way (96-mile walking trail from Glasgow to Fort William) in Scotland with her sister.
Joshua Lindquist

Joshua is Abbey's younger brother. Dakota and Joshua met one evening when Abbey brought him up to the house with a small group of friends. His first impression was that he could tell that Dakota was a respectful and upbeat person. If Joshua could be an animal, he would be a monkey of some sort because he is full of energy, loves to socialize, and will climb on anything!
Gwen Davis

Gwen and Abbey have known each other for 14 years. Their mothers were convinced they would become fast friends while waiting their turn for piano lessons, and 14 years later, the rest is history. Gwen is a NICU nurse at UPMC Pinnacle. If there were any Disney trivia shows, Gwen would win them in a heartbeat. If Gwen could be any animal she would be Minnie Mouse because #Disney
Peter "Mabs" Ndaro

Peter and Dakota have known each other for almost two years. Peter is engaged to Abbey's sister, Amelia. Both Dakota and Peter work as Medical Scribes through the same company. Peter was introduced to Dakota through Abbey one night at the Lindquist's house and the rest is history. Both Dakota and Peter aim to be doctors, and may end up at the same medical school...who knows? It could happen! If Peter could be an animal, he would be a black lamb. Lambs are interesting because they are pretty stupid and need constant guidance and are very reliant on a shepherd to help them survive. In life, Peter makes a lot of stupid decisions and is in constant need of Jesus to help him not just survive, but thrive enough to enjoy life.
Megan Hess

Megan and Abbey have known each other since their first class at Messiah College, Oral Communications and Spanish 201 in the Fall of 2014. Megan is a Public Relations Coordinator at the Masonic Villages of PA. Megan writes young adult fiction in her free time and has finished four novels (with more in progress). If Megan could be any animal, she thinks that a miniature donkey would best fit because she is short, friendly, and can be stubborn.
Keith Lim

Keith and Abbey have known each other since Freshman year at the International Banquet hosted by Messiah College, and in the past two years Keith and Dakota hit it off. Keith works at Deloitte as a software engineer in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He is a Wedding Cinematographer in his free time. If Keith were to be an animal, he would want to be a porcupine because he can be gentle and friendly, but can be guarded/shy until he gets to know you.
Vivianna Hein

Vivianna and Abbey have known each other since third grade Vacation Bible School, and have been friends ever since! They used to knit in Sunday School together. Vivianna is a first grade teacher in Maryland. She is very passionate about good black coffee and enjoys making her own cold brew. If she could be any animal, she would want to be a giraffe because they have long legs and are cool.
David Patawaran

Dakota and David met Freshman year, they lived on the same floor. Dakota was rocking a floral hat which David remembers vividly. They were both on the Messiah College Men's Swim Team. David is a Software Engineer at Carbon Black Inc. He once ate 20 hotdogs in a single sitting. If David could be any animal, he would want to be an island sloth because he belongs in the tropics laying on the beach.
Elizabeth Pinkham

Elizabeth and Abbey have known each other since their junior year of college, as they were getting ready for a cross cultural trip to Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore. They instantly became great friends when they sat together on the first 13 hour plane ride. Elizabeth is a Software Developer at Vanguard in Malvern, Pennsylvania. She once danced barefoot in the dirt in a Nepali village in the Himalayas. It was a piece that she and her sister had done in many different places and she spontaneously adapted to her friend's live acoustic version of the song. If she could be any animal, she would want to be a dolphin because they are free-spirited, playful, love people, and roam free.
Jordan Frank

Jordan and Dakota met Freshman year of college during move-in day. They were roommates/bunkmates, but met each other at the freshman block party when Dakota was in his tiger onesie. Jordan is a high school chemistry teacher in Prince William County, Virginia. One time, Jordan opened for Bret Michaels, the singer of Poison. He would describe his personality as one of a golden retriever because he is always optimistic, easy-going, loyal, and prime meme material.
Marion Harms
Flower Girl
Abbey knew Marion since the day she was born. They are not just neighbors, but close friends as well. Marion likes to swing, hang out with friends, and she will be going into second grade. She has an American Girl Doll, Josefina, just like Abbey. If Marion could be an animal, she would want to be a horse, so she could run fast, be cool, and it would be easy to climb up a big mountain.
Michael Harms

Michael is Abbey’s neighbor, Marion's younger brother, and they are good buddies. He loves to play all day. His favorite show is Paw Patrol. Legos, motorcycles and race cars are some of his favorite toys because they are fast. Michael is always good at making silly faces and making people laugh. If Michael could be an animal, he would be a zebra, because they are a cool type of horse, eat grass and can be really fast or slow.
