In the summer of 2017, Connor and Abigail both had summer internships at the NASA IV&V facility in Fairmont, West Virginia. Abigail was assigned the cubical across from Connor's and the rest is history.

Connor got down on one knee and asked Abigail to marry him at Parc Monceau in Paris, France on June 17th, 2023. Connor secretly carried the ring in his pocket and was successful at completely surprising Abigail when he popped the question. Abigail was speechless and then immediately said "Yes!". The couple will cherish this intimate memory and their special spot for the rest of their lives. Parc Monceau is a public park situated in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. It is not very large as ⁩⁦Paris⁩⁦ parks go, but it is one of the most charming of parks. It was one of the first landscaped parks to be created in ⁩⁦Paris⁩.⁩ This beautiful park, which has inspired many famous paintings, was created in the 18th century for Philippe Egalité, the cousin of Louis XVI and the father of King Louis-Philippe I.
