Things To Do

Below you will find some of our favorite things to do! We were unable to list everything we love about DC, as there is so much to do here. We recommend checking out https://washington.org for an updated list of events to enjoy while you are here.

National Mall

Take a stroll down the National Mall to view the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and views of the White House! This is my favorite thing to do around sunset. Bring walking shoes because it's longer than you think!

Smithosnian Institutions

Visit one of the many free Smithsonian Institutions!

Cherry Blossom Festival

The cherry blossom festival will be occurring in DC from March 20th - April 16th! While the blooms themselves can be unpredictable, the festival will have music, art, food, and more for you to enjoy!
