Take a stroll down the National Mall to view the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and views of the White House! This is my favorite thing to do around sunset. Bring walking shoes because it's longer than you think!

A DC staple, Le Diplomate is known for its incredible French cuisine. Must-haves: House cheeseburger, steak frites, dover sole meunièr, fresh oysters, or Croque-Madame.
