We met on the second day of move in our freshman year of college. Abigail was with her roommate Abby sitting at a picnic table, and CJ was with his roommate Alec, his girlfriend (Ellie), her roommate (Cadence), and his friend Sean all playing spikeball. It was CJ's turn to sit out and he sat down at the picnic table and said "Hi, I'm CJ." Abigail was sure he was an upperclassmen because "what kind of freshman has that confidence" We all became a group that would hang out consistently, playing intermural sports (very poorly), and mariokart while all crammed into one dorm room. It was later admitted to Abigail & CJ that everyone in the new found friend group was in a groupchat together without Abigail & CJ so they could talk about how obvious it was that they liked each other (embarrassing). This friend group built from CJ's outgoing personality lasted through freshman year and continued throughout college. Abigail, Ellie, & Cadence, eventually ended up living with senior year of college. And CJ and Alec lived together all four years of college. All because CJ said hi!
