Hike Terranea & Have a Margarita
gorgeous coastal walk (~20 min drive) with ocean views the entire way. The base of the hike is the perfect place to go tide pooling. Pro tip: stop at the coffee shop in Terranea Resort and have an affogato. This trail is extra special to us because it was our first hike in LA and Chris proposed to Abigail on this piece of the coastline! We celebrated after with spicy margaritas at Nelson’s (highly recommend!)
Bike the Strand & Grab Tacos
For major South Bay vibes, rent bikes and cruise The Strand from Redondo to Manhattan Beach. Pull off at Esperanza Cocina de la Playa for the best steak tacos (a little bit bougie but so worth it) and don’t forget to try the honey butter with your tortillas!
Jus' Poke
The BEST authentic Hawaiian Poké. Grab it to-go and watch the sunset on the beach while you eat!
Nick's Manhattan Beach
Treat Yourself!! This is our favorite fancy spot. The best French dip and butter cake you'll ever have. Period. Also: shoutout to the spicy tuna crispy rice and the Hugo Spritz!
Caffe Luxxe
We LOVE our coffee and this is our favorite spot in the South Bay. Cute little bookstore next door and Becker's Bakery across the street!
