Abigail and Caleb met while serving at the Friendship House, a local nonprofit dedicated to serving inner-city kids, unhoused individuals, refugees, and immigrants. The very first time Abigail saw Caleb she immediately thought he looked like the main character of a Viking show she was watching with her brother, and ever since that day, the "Viking Boy" has had her heart. They did not start dating until after their time of serving there was complete, but their shared commitment laid an unexpected foundation for a lifelong bond, exemplified by their first time leading worship together right there at the center. Their relationship is built upon a mutual faith in God, a love for nature, a passion for music, a spirit of adventure, and a shared dedication to helping children. A few of their favorite ways to spend time together include cooking (and eating), Bible studies, walks, and watching Russian shows. Abigail is pursuing her goal of becoming an Art Therapist through an advanced standing Master’s program in Clinical Social Work, while simultaneously serving as a therapeutic mentor at Far and Beyond Mentoring Services. As he nears the completion of his Business degree in Digital Marketing, Caleb continues his dedicated work at Attain ABA, serving as a Behavior Technician for adolescents with autism.
