We're so excited to celebrate with you

I'd expect that most of you are familiar with the great "West Side Story" (Sharks vs. Jets, Tony & Maria, etc.). Well, this Broadway classic not only deserves its many accolades - it is also a core part of the Bowen and Abby origin story. (Thanks to Grand Canyon University's 2017 production). It was in this production that both of us made our GCU musical theater debut, myself as a Jet and Bowen as a Shark. Long story short, Bowen couldn't resist my *very* recently dyed fire red hair, so he promptly introduced himself. During performances, it was always Bowen that helped me decide if I needed more/less blush, and myself, who (only once) made Bowen forget to enter stage for an entire scene. Anyway, we clicked quite quickly, and integrated fast and seamlessly into one another's groups of tight knit friends. The 3 years of college to follow were filled with innumerable camping trips, concerts, living room dance parties, long distance summers, and late evening study sessions. In all seriousness, the Lord has blessed us beyond belief. God's goodness and faithfulness in the last 4.5 years of our relationship has stirred in us an excitement for marriage that we cannot begin to put into words. Thank you each for the tremendous role that you've played in our lives and our relationship. We truly cannot wait to celebrate with you! - A & B
