Flight
San Juan is Puerto Rico's largest city and the home of the island's main airport. As Puerto Rico is a territory belonging to the U.S., a passport is NOT required to travel between the mainland United States and the island–a valid driver license or state ID is all you need.
Travel Note
For folks who want to be near San Juan, we recommend you stay around Isla Verde. You can find plenty of Airbnbs, condos & hotels all within walking distance to the beach. (Note you can move around with Uber, but we do recommend you either rent or carpool to get to and from the venue as we cannot guarantee you find an Uber that picks you up at the Hacienda.) Near the venue you can find plenty of airbnbs/hotels in the neighboring municipalities such as Luquillo and Fajardo, They're about 15-30 mins from the venue and there is lot's to do around Fajardo. Travel Note
Río Grande is a small town 30-40 minutes driving distance from San Juan. While you are welcome to stay in San Juan or the neighboring towns, just keep in mind that traffic conditions and weather may affect how long a trip may take between the location of your accommodations and the location of the wedding (Hacienda Siesta Alegre).
