Navigating Waterville
Golf
Waterville Valley’s historic golf course opened in 1898, making it one of the oldest in New Hampshire. A major renovation in 2005 retained the character and tradition of the 113-year-old course, and created six spectacular new and redesigned holes. The par 31 layout with four par-4 holes provides a challenging golf experience for players of all abilities.
Boating
Right next to Town Square you'll find the mountain stream-fed Corcoran's Pond. At Corcoran’s Pond waterfront you’ll find a fleet of over 20 kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, pedal boats and canoes are available for rent at the Town Square dock. August 27 - October 10 - Saturday & Sunday (Plus Labor Day & Columbus Day), 10am - 4pm
Hiking
Home of the first network of hiking trails in the United States, Waterville Valley is a hiker's paradise. With 125 miles of hiking trails, towering peaks, and 5 of the White Mountain 4,000 footers - the opportunity for exploration is endless.
Disc Golf
The original Snow's Mountain ski trails of Waterville Valley have been transformed into a 18-hole disc golf course that begins with a chairlift ride to the summit. Play your way down the mountain while taking in views of the Valley and surrounding peaks!
Biking
Rent a mountain or road bike and cruise around the Valley, or cut through the woods and explore a variety of trails for all abilities through the National Forest. Everything from meandering dirt fire roads to gnarly single-track is available, plus lift access to biking and hiking trails on Snow's Mountain. Tandem bikes and tag-alongs are also available!
Waterfalls
There's no shortage of alpine brooks, mountain-fed streams, and roaring rivers here in the Valley. And when summer arrives and the snow melts, it becomes clear why Waterville Valley got its name. The Valley is home to a plethora of exquisite waterfalls, from punchbowls to cascades. You can access the Valley's waterfalls through easy hikes, with the option of taking Snow's Mountain scenic chairlift to shorten your hike. Take a mid-hike dip in the invigorating glacial waters, or enjoy the thrill of cliff-jumping. Or simply take in the clear mountain air while enjoying the serenity of the babbling waterfalls.
Chairlift Rides
Located on Boulder Path Road, Snow's Mountain Chairlift offers something for everyone with relaxing, scenic round trip rides, lift-accessed mountain bike trails of all levels, hiking trails through the National forest that lead to waterfalls and swimming holes, plus an 18-hole Disc Golf Course.
Tennis
Practice your forearm surrounded by panoramic mountain views. Founded in 1884, the Waterville Valley Tennis Center offers top-notch instruction matched with an unforgettable setting, with 18 outdoor clay tennis courts, 2 indoor courts, and a full service retail & rental shop.
Ice Arena
The Waterville Valley Ice Arena is located at the center of activity adjacent to the Town Square on the shores of Corcoran Pond. The Ice Arena offers numerous public skating and stick and puck sessions throughout the week. Rental skates are available.
Legends Escape Room
Located on the 2nd floor of Town Square, Legends Escapes is a live entertainment experience in which a small group of people are 'locked' in a themed room and must find clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes as quickly as possible.
Legends Arcade
Legends Adventure is a family-friendly arcade game room offering outdoor thrills during the summertime. Come play, listen to music, and have fun! Located across from Olde Waterville Pizza Company at Town Square Lower Level.
