Where should we stay?

Answer

The Hotel Viking is the location for both the ceremony and reception. A hotel block is available using group code 1018FING. If you would like to look for other accommodations there are many options for hotels, inns and AirBNBs close to the venue in Newport, as well as national hotel chains in Middletown.

Is there parking and transportation?

Answer

Valet parking is available at the Hotel Viking and will be complementary for wedding guests. The ceremony is located next door to the hotel at Kay Chapel. While you are exploring Newport we recommend walking where possible to best enjoy the city. Uber and lyft are also available. There are metered spots and multiple paid parking lots close to Stoneacre Garden. Where should we eat while staying in Newport?

Answer

There are many wonderful restaurants and bars in downtown Newport! Some of our favorite spots include Benjamins for seafood, Buskers for authentic Irish cuisine, Perro Salado for Mexican, and Pour Judgement for pub fare! We love Corner Cafe and Tickets for breakfast or Nitro Bar for a quick breakfast and coffee! Or take a quick drive past the beach to Middletown for the best french pastries at Le Bec Sucre. For a good burger try Chomp on Broadway or Mission in Middletown by the beach! Smuggler's is one of our favorite places to grab a drink with a view of the harbor! Another one of our favorite places for a proper pour of Guinness is Fastnet.
