We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met the summer before freshman year of high school. Christian and his family had just moved back to the area. Our first meeting occurred thanks to Christian's grandma, Cynthia, and sister, Kennedy. Kennedy was in a local musical theatre production and Cynthia was playing piano for the show. What does this have to do with the couple? Well, Cynthia needed a page turner for the show, so she decided to ask her neighbor girl, Abigail. Of course Christian had to support his sister and come see a show. After the show Cynthia introduced the lovely couple. It may not have been a love at first sight moment, but the theatre is a special place for the couple.

The proposal brings us back to the theatre where it all started. Christian had asked Abigail if she wanted to see a play over Christmas break. Of course she knew what was going to be coming. Well it turns out Christian was too excited and couldn't wait until December. So after going out to dinner with her parents one weekend he suggested they stop by the theatre to buy tickets for the play. Abby of course thought he was crazy since the box office was not going to be open. She almost refused to get out of the car but Christian convinced her and as they made their way to the door he stopped to "tie his shoe". I'm not even kidding he actually pretended to tie his shoe! Abigail was shocked when he popped the question but of course she said YES! Christian still likes to tease her that she was so excited she took the ring from him and put in on herself. After 2 1/2 long years we can't wait to celebrate with all of you! See you in September!!
