We matched on Tinder! Our untraditional schedules allowed for a Wednesday night date at 10:30 pm. A date that was supposed to include cocktails in Chelsea turned into walking Albert’s roommates dog in Brooklyn. (Thanks Betty and Gwen!) A wildcard match soon turned into something special.

It all started with a swipe…

Albert proposed to Abbey (after months of covert planning with secret associates) in their favorite restaurant, the Oyster Club! They had a late dinner, everyone had left and Albert had the staff fully prepared and on his side. Almost more surprising to Abbey was the post-engagement gathering at the bar next store, where Albert had stationed Abbey’s family and best friend Cassie to celebrate with us!
