We're Getting Married

Our journey started on May 10th 2023, we met at the Wildhorse Bar and Grill on a karaoke night here in Molalla. I wasn't much of a singer at the time, but I could get lost listening to him sing. I noticed him from afar but never really said anything till one night I finally got up the courage to go and talk to him. We ended up going outside to smoke our dab pens together and started to hit it off really well! We both went back inside together and sat with one another until I had to go home. We talked quite a bit that night and we learned that we both have been through a lot, and we understood each other a lot because of that. As we continued talking we also learned that we connected over the love of outdoors, I didn't think I would find someone as outdoorsy and spontaneous as me! Our first date was a drive to 224 up in Estacada, and we sat by the river on that sunny day and just enjoyed being with one another, getting to know who we were as people and we both saw how well we connected. As the days went on, he finally had asked me to be his girlfriend on May 22nd 2023, and I was just over the moon! I really couldn't believe I was so blessed to find such a caring person. Ever since that first day of meeting, and talking for the first time, we have been doing nothing but make each other smile. We have helped each other grow as people and have been with one another through thick and thin. On October 17, 2024 we went out for a drive, it was a chilly day, but that day will always be a beautiful day to me. We were on 224 in Estacada and decided to drive out to a very special spot where we spent a majority of our summer together when we first met. We sat in the truck for a little bit talking and Tim wanted to get out and walk around, so I finally got the courage to hop out of the truck and into the cold to take some photos of the scenery. As we were walking down the steps down onto the beach I found cool little rock to stand on for some great photos. that's where I heard from behind me "Babe, I have a question for you" and as I turned around, I fell off the rock I was standing on and bursted into happy tears! He was on one knee asking a question I never thought I would hear "Will You Marry Me?". That day will forever be one of my most cherished days, the day our lives changed forever for the better.
