The ceremony is at Ascension Catholic Parish. The address is 1100 Berkshire Blvd NW. Entrance is through the west doors.
There is plenty of free parking surrounding the church.
The ceremony begins at 2:00pm, but we ask that guests be seated by 1:45pm.
Guests are asked to sit at any of the available marked pews. There is no groom side nor bride side. The first two rows are reserved.
The reception begins at 5:00pm. Guests should be seated by 5:30pm.
The reception is at the ENMAX Conservatory which is within the Calgary Zoo. Follow signage in the zoo for directions to the ENMAX Conservatory.
There are three methods of getting to the zoo: 1. For those driving, park at the Calgary Zoo North Lot. Please note, the Calgary Zoo West Lot will not be open. See the following FAQ question on pricing. 2. For those arriving via taxi or Uber, arrive at the employee-only south entrance located at 1300 Zoo Road NE. 3. For those arriving via train, hop off at the Calgary Zoo Station along the blue line (route 202).
Yes, parking is a flat rate of $13 for 24 hours. Parking is only available at the Calgary Zoo North Lot. There are pay machines located at the plaza before the zoo entrance which accept credit cards or cash ($1 or $2 coins).
Admission is free. Please let the ticket-scanner employees know that you are attending the van Eerde-King wedding and they will let you in.
Yes. Please note that the zoo closes at 5:00pm, so guests are asked to make their way to the venue by 5:00pm.
Yes, the venue will be open to drop off any belongings. There is a coat check room available.
Please refer to the seating chart at the venue for your seat. Name cards will be at each place setting.
Yes! Every guest will receive two drink tickets for the bar, valued at $10 each.
The bar accepts credit card, debit, or cash.
Once the zoo closes, it will be difficult to get in and out of the zoo through the North Gate so we ask all guests to take anything they might need to the ENMAX Conservatory while the zoo is still open (i.e. before 5pm).
This is a Filipino tradition that will take place during the reception that provides guests the opportunity to dance with the bride and/or groom while wishing them prosperity by pinning bills onto their clothing! Any kind of bill works, this is just for fun!
