What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside and the reception will be indoors. We're not expecting rain, but we will have a tent if the weather looks risky.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

We expect the weather to be perfect (even for late October)! Over the past 5 years, the average temperature has been 59 degrees with an average high of 69 degrees and an average low of 50 degrees.

What about travel details? Should I plan to rent a car?

Answer

All of our events are organized in downtown Athens, so the entire wedding weekend is intended to be easily walkable for all of our guests. If you're headed in from the Atlanta Airport, consider using a transportation service or grouping up with other guests for ride shares or rental cars.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
