Travel Note
Our wedding is 30 minutes outside the nearest large town, which is Bethel. While we do recommend staying at The Bethel Inn for its variety of amenities and history, Bethel is a large vacation destination year round and is full of hotels, food, and summer activities. So, if you are looking to be in Maine a bit longer than just for the wedding this is the perfect place and there are many, many options for where to stay and what else to do. Please see the link for Bethel's visitors info to make sure your planning is smooth and enjoyable-- it's an excellent resource. We can't wait to see you!
Flight
This airport is a 60-80 minute drive to West Paris or Bethel, Maine. We recommend renting a car from the airport if flying in, asking friends or other family members who drove to be your transport for the weekend, or taking a road trip for the occasion! We promise the distance is worth the views.
Hotel
This is where our families are staying. This is a large small-town Inn with many incredible amenities, including a golf course and spa, with easy access to food and a beautiful Western Maine town. Our venue is a 22 minute drive from this Inn. We recommend booking as soon as possible, as right now there is plenty of availability but Maine is a popular summer spot and we do not want you to miss out!
House Or Rental
This part of Maine has many beautiful homes and cottages that can be rented for the weekend at great prices due to the non-coastal location. The mountain views are amazing, and the privacy is better than a hotel. If you are with a group, we recommend finding a bigger space to share and making the weekend even more special!
