What should I wear?

Answer

Dressy but comfortable! Semi-formal or dressy casual — suits, dresses, and elevated outfits work great. The ceremony is outdoors by the dock with an indoor reception, so you may want a light jacket. Wedding colors are autumn-inspired in warm earthy tones.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation. If a guest or plus one is included, it will be listed there. If you have questions, feel free to reach out!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive between 3:30-3:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM on the dock, and we’d love for everyone to be comfortably seated before it starts!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Free parking is available on-site at the Windmill Winery. Signs and attendants will help guide you when you arrive.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture every moment, and we’d love for you to be fully present with us. Don’t worry, you’ll get to relive the memories afterward!

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ll kick things off with cocktail hour after the ceremony, followed by a full dinner and dessert. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions so we can accommodate you. Kindly note that outside alcohol is not permitted by the venue.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve included hotel recommendations on the Travel page. Florence has a couple local options, and there are great hotels in Gilbert and Queen Creek just 45–60 minutes away.

Is there a hotel shuttle to the venue?

Answer

Yes! Guests staying at the GreenTree Inn can enjoy a complimentary shuttle to and from the Windmill Winery. The shuttle will depart the hotel at the top of the hour and every 20 minutes starting two hours before the ceremony. It will also run throughout the evening to return everyone safely back to the hotel.
