After much prayer and consideration with our families, along with new venue restrictions, we have made the difficult decision to scale back and change our wedding plans due to the ongoing uncertainty of the pandemic. The health and safety of our loved ones is our first priority. We could have never imagined having to make this difficult decision, but we know it is what is best during this time. We are heartbroken we won’t be able to celebrate with all of our loved ones in person, however, we hope you will join us virtually to celebrate with us from afar. We first met our freshman year college at the University of Oklahoma celebrating a big Bedlam football win. Throughout our freshman year, we saw each other take other people to date parties and would secretly be a little jealous. After a year of being good friends, we started dating during the fall of our Sophomore year. At first, we didn't let any of our friends know we were trying out this dating thing. Then suddenly Abi's roommate, and now Maid of Honor, finally figured it out (yes- you can call us a real life Chandler and Monica... we're flattered!). Throughout our five and a half years together we've experienced many of life's highs and lows by each other's side. From college, bowl game championships, trips, graduating OU, family losses, law school, job hunts, getting engaged, getting our sweet puppy Lucy, Cole graduating law school at OU and studying/taking the Bar Exam, and last but not least, planning a wedding during a pandemic (not for the faint-hearted!). We couldn't have made it to where we are today without each other or without the love and support of all of our family and friends. We love and appreciate you all greatly!
