Wherever this finds you, a Saturday afternoon slouched on the sofa with a movie or the news a soft murmur in the background or perhaps on your commute to work (please get off your phone if driving) or possibly at your desk at work, looking for a distraction from the 9-5 grind or possibly you found a little bit of nature to wander in and decided you'd browse our website. It is also very possible that none of these boiler plate options resonate with you...but we welcome you here all the same. We are so incredibly grateful for your love, friendship, and support and we hope that you will join us to celebrate our marriage on September 26th. Some of you may know a little bit about our story but others may have stalked Abi or Andres on their social media trying to find some information on your friend or family member's partner-to-be....so here's a catered all-be-it brief storyline that we wrote with the intention of you thinking the best you possibly can of us. We connected via hinge in Fall 2024 and a week after our first message we were scheduling a date. Our first date we got a drink at the Light Horse Pub in Old Town Alexandria, followed by Sweet Green for dinner (Abi's choice, to Andres dismay). Andres thought Abi was cute, but Abi was impressed by Andres charm and impressive ability to converse...what started there turned into nights of Korean BBQ, board games, pasta-making and days of hiking, bickering over politics and religion, and adventuring around the DMV (and beyond). We love to feast, to cook, to debate and to explore & discuss theology and hang out with our third half, Fortis. We're excited for our life together and hope you will join us in celebrating!
