Our Story
From medical school at California Northstate in Elk Grove/Sacramento to (against popular advice) couples-matching into medical residency in Jacksonville, Florida, their relationship persists.
Abha and David first met in the early weeks of medical school, interacting in passing at social events and lectures, but their story starts after a gesture of fate assigned them to a group project together. As if pulled by an invisible string, David recalls finding himself increasingly drawn to Abha's charismatic allure. Meanwhile, Abha holds that David played hard-to-get with little reassurance that their relationship would transcend intimate friendship. Nonetheless, they both can agree that each new memory shared was accompanied by increasing commitment and depth of connection. From ever-closer friends to life partners, they've tackled life by each other's side with support and authenticity.
Now in their 2nd year of residency in Jacksonville, they are excited to share their future together...
