Question

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00. Please plan to arrive at 3:30pm to account for traffic, parking, and finding your seat.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

For those staying at the Bahia Resort, guests will receive one complimentary parking spot per room. For guests driving to the ceremony, public parking is available on a limited basis on Gleason Road and Ventura Cove - overflow parking is also available on Bonita Cove. Those lots are neither owned nor operated by the Bahia Resort Hotel. Parking and traffic conditions may be challenging this time of year. We highly encourage carpooling or ride-share services.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. The reception will take place indoors on the William D. Evans sternwheeler boat. We will spend 2 hours of the reception sailing San Diego's Mission Bay and an outdoor promenade is available on the top level of the boat to take in the views!

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail attire. Suggestions include: short, midi, and long dresses, suits (jacket and tie optional). We kindly ask no short-sleeve shirts, jeans, shorts, or sneakers.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your formal invitation and RSVP will indicate whether a guest is included. To keep with occupancy limits of the venue and meal counts for our vendors, we ask that you only bring a guest if one is indicated on your invitation.

Can children attend?

Answer

If children are not explicitly listed on your invitation/RSVP, we kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home during the wedding festivities.
