Abel "Dan" and Lacy first met in a very unlikely place, a job interview! After Lacy got the job and started working for the organization, Dan and Lacy would continue to be in touch as co-workers for close to three years. After a work meeting in Baltimore, their typical work conversation changed to getting to know one another more and a new connection was forming. They would go on their first date a week later to Mom Chaffe's Cellarette in West Reading. In a short period of time, what once started as friendship, started to turn into a deep connection that would transform into love. On a hot, July evening after celebrating a friend's birthday, Lacy couldn't wait another second to tell Dan how much she loved him and he said he loved her too. Dan would not only open his heart to Lacy, but also share one of his greatest gifts with her, his son - Nathan. The three of them started creating memories together with fun trips, movie nights, walking/park dates, and many games nights. As Lacy and Nathan's connection and love for each other also started to grow, it was clear that they were ready to "officially" become a family! On November 20, 2020, Nathan and Dan would ask Lacy to marry them in the comfort of their home. It was a very quick, "yes" for her!
