Flight
Our wedding will take place in Murrieta, California. For guests traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into one of the following airports: John Wayne Airport (SNA) – Our top recommendation, located a little under an hour and a half from the venue. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – Another option, though it is farther from Murrieta and traffic can be unpredictable. Depending on traffic, travel time may exceed two hours. Long Beach Airport (LGB) – A smaller airport that may offer convenient flight options, depending on your location. Ontario International Airport (ONT) – Located in Ontario, California (not Ontario, Canada), and a reasonable alternative for some travelers. We recommend checking traffic conditions when planning your travel, as Southern California traffic can vary greatly depending on the time of day.
Travel Note
If you’re planning to explore Los Angeles or Orange County before or after the wedding, the options below are great choices. Once your sightseeing is complete, it’s an easy drive to Murrieta, where the wedding will take place. 1. Stay Near the Beach If a coastal stay sounds more appealing, consider Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, or Dana Point in Orange County — these are closer to the venue and offer a relaxed beach atmosphere. Beachfront homes and hotels are spread along the coast. Travel time to LA attractions will vary by location. 2. Stay in the City For guests who want to be close to LA’s main attractions, we recommend looking in neighborhoods such as Santa Monica/Venice, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Studio City, Century City, or Silver Lake/Echo Park. These areas offer easy access to dining, shopping, nightlife, and iconic LA sights. 3. Stay Near the Venue Our venue is located in Murrieta, near Temecula, a region known for its wineries, rolling hills, and beautiful mountain views. This is a wonderful option for guests looking for a quieter stay with easy access to the wedding events. A quick note on travel: California traffic can be unpredictable and hectic at times. If you choose to stay in Los Angeles, we strongly recommend allowing extra travel time and heading toward the venue early on the day of the wedding, as traffic may add several hours to your drive.
