Our story begins with a swipe. In a world where finding love online has become the norm, we both swiped right on Hinge, unaware that this simple match would change everything. Initially, we exchanged a few messages, each one more exciting than the last. What began as casual small talk quickly evolved into deep discussions about our favorite movies, the places we dreamed of visiting, and thoughts on whether slasher movies should be considered horror films. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we had found someone who truly understood each other, someone we could be ourselves around. When we met in person for the first time, there was a mix of nervousness and excitement. However, upon seeing each other face-to-face, all that anxiety melted away. We spent hours talking (P.S. Christina did most of the talking because she tends to talk a lot when she is nervous), laughing, and getting to know one another. We discovered how much we had in common and how much we enjoyed each other’s company. From that day forward, we couldn’t get enough of each other. We found ourselves planning our next date before the current one even ended, whether it was enjoying mini golf, trying out a new restaurant, or convincing Abel to start a Harry Potter marathon every weekend. As time passed, what started as a chance connection on a dating app blossomed into a love neither of us could have anticipated. We shared our dreams and ambitions and supported each other through life's ups and downs, knowing we had something special. Here we are, preparing to take the biggest step of our lives together. We feel so fortunate that a swipe, a message, and a little bit of Abel's courage brought us to this moment. We can’t wait to continue this adventure with all of you by our side.
